Around La Maison du Banian, the property is for your sole use. You’ll be alone to enjoy the surrounding. Only one room on terrace is available, open on the bush, the birds will be your early visitors at dawn. The double bed under a mosquito net is waiting for you, like a nest, for an unforgettable stay in the middle of nowhere, with the song of the trade wind as a lullaby.
You’ll awake with the song of the parrots and budgerigars and in the morning you can go and pick yourself your fruits for your breakfast served in the salon opened up to the forest.
If you like you can prepare your meals with the fruits and veggies from the garden, on the open fire or in the small adjoining kitchen. The bathroom is located about ten meters away from La Maison du Banian, bamboo made and open sky. La Maison du Banian is running in respect of environment, the garden provide fruits, veggies and poultry, the rainwater is collected for all water needs and solar panel provide the power. The sweet light of the open fire, candles and kerosene lamps will give a romantic touch to your evenings
During the day, you are welcome to share the gardening activities with our gardeners, which will show you how to plant and harvest the many species typically used in the every day diet in Vanuatu. They can also teach you how to weave mats en baskets.
